How I Generated My First Lead in Just Three Days

How I Generated My First Lead In Three Days

Last night around 3:00 am, I generated my first lead online. Now I understand that generating just one lead isn’t anything to brag about… unless it’s your first!

They say we all remember our first time and boy will I remember this! I’ve invested a lot of time and money into learning about lead generation and none of it worked. It wasn’t until a few days ago that I started practicing attraction marketing that I knew it was all going to change. And here I am with my first lead three days later!

What is Attraction Marketing?

Attraction Marketing is the concept of branding and promoting yourself by giving value to your target audience. A lot of Network Marketers use this form of marketing to generate leads and to promote their primary opportunity on the back-end.

Attraction Marketing is used in several different ways but the two most popular forms are blogging and YouTube.

Blogging is my preferred method of choice because I’ve noticed all the top leaders in the industry have a blog. I can also make YouTube videos and just embed them into my blog so I’m shooting two birds with one stone!

So How Do You Generate Leads?

  1.  Well first off, I’d recommend starting a blog. If you’re not too technically challenged and know how to use Google, you can get one set up in a week or two. If you don’t want to do the technical stuff then you can outsource it to someone online.
  2. On your blog, you need to have an offer with a capture form that would benefit your audience. If you need an idea of what I mean, my capture form is at the top right hand side of this page. My offer is a FREE WEBINAR. (I’d recommend putting your name and email into the capture form to see how it all works!)
  3. Create new content daily. Right now I’m making it an effort to put out new content daily so I can start building my blog, and generating quality leads. When you create new content every single day, you’re going to make it easier and faster for the search engines to find you. Plus you’ll make yourself look more credible as a leader people would want to work with.
  4. Share your content. For some reason, some bloggers will write a bunch of content and NEVER share their own stuff! You need to make sure your sharing EVERY single post you write on all of your social sites! No one’s going to read your content if it’s not easy to find!

Now that you’re building your list…

Make sure whenever you create new content, you’re sending a broadcast out to your list so they can keep up to date on all the great content you’re producing! Remember, these are people who opted in and gave you permission to market to them. They understand you bring value to the table and want to build a relationship with you! That’s the value of getting leads through attraction marketing!

I had never heard the term attraction marketing before. The 4 steps are very easy to follow and understand. Very well written without getting too technical. With all the changes that Google has done to their algorithm daily content really seems to be key for rankings.

      Ryan,

Don’t worry about daily content just for rankings so much. I may have spoken out of turn when I originally wrote this article.

Instead of focusing on quantity, focus on QUALITY. You can still rank in Google by providing quality content. Plus it is more convertible for your audience.
